True Grit Kennels

     True Grit Kennels is a small kennel located in Shuqualak, Ms.  We are just getting started with our breeding foundation, however it is sure to be a promising future.

All of our dogs are showing a lot of promise.  They all have really good mouths.  They start baying at a very early age.  These dogs are all ready for a job, and we feel that these are characteristics that they will pass on to thier pups.  They are territorial, family oriented, protective dogs....yet good minded.  They are raised up around children and are socialized with daily.

     Our dogs go back to the  Aden Bloodlines and resemble them very much in size and color.  We have actually just picked up a new pair of dogs to add to our breeding program, straight off the ADEN RANCH, out of Aubrey Aden's dam Lollipop and his sire Wager's Fred.  We have great expectations for Lil Miss Dixie and Ole Rebel Fred.  We also contribute some of our success to Peachtree Plantation Catahoulas out of Florida.  Anthony Picheo is a breeder close to Pensacola, Florida who is raising some outstanding dogs.  One of our Sire's : Peachtree's Copper Spur comes from his kennel.  (Pictures of Peachtree's Copper Spur coming soon....he is the Sire of the litter of pups born 05/11/09 out of Molly.)

We will begin showing our dogs next year and hope to have a good outcome.

 UPDATES:  All of our pups from the October Litter are gone.  

 I am happy to say that all of the pups from the May litter have been sold.....we will have more litters in the future.  If you are interested in a puppy, please let us know.  Thanks to the folks that bought puppies.....
